This week is going to be painful, I have assignments in almost every class plus I have to write up 3 posts by Friday. I don't know whats worse, having no chance to chill with my friends or that I'll have even more work junior year. I've heard junior year is the hardest, and it would be nice to know the amount of work given on average. For all I know junior year could be the easiest year, people have also told me senior year is the hardest. Now that I have a class with all seniors, I can ask, what year was the hardest for you? Everyone's answer will most likely be different from each other, but I can put my faith in people's opinions.
I also want to mention my new class. It's only really been about a month and everyone seems really awesome and full of personality. At first I almost felt intimidated being in around people who had far greater writing experience. What I didn't know was that I wasn't completely alone, many of my classmates I've had in other classes before. In the end what helps is that everyone from the teacher to my classmates never take anything seriously, they simply do what is asked, no complaints (or at least not much). I can tell you now my other sophomore classes are not as great; everyone complains about everything, hell I end up spitting some snarky comments simply because its infectious.
I guess to sum up that wall of text I just want to thank my class for making days like these feel a little bit less like the nine circles of Dante's inferno.
So I still have a lot of work to get through so I'll just leave you with this work of art.

It depends on what classes you take. There is more opportunity to challenge yourself once you reach your junior year because there are AP classes, as well as more honors classes. But try not to worry about the class load. You are fortunate enough to be educated for free in this country so just try to take advantage of the opportunity you have.
ReplyDeleteAll my years were pretty equal, I spread out hard classes through at the years with easy classes. I depends on the classes you take, you're the only one that can determine which year will be hardest for you! Also, you're so nice Chris!
ReplyDeleteFreshman year and Junior year were definitely the years I struggled the most. Freshman year I had adjustment issues and Junior year my classes were hard and the SAT's stressed me out.
ReplyDeleteFor me it was the english classes that were a struggle for me and still are.
